Support is Key
CCIH provides support services at Bella Monte Apartments, a 52 unit apartment complex, in Bay Point and Los Medanos Village, a 71 unit apartment complex, in Pittsburg. Both sites offer affordable housing to low-income families and are owned by Resources for Community Development.
CCIH started the programs because the county specifically identified East County as an underserved area. CCIH provides afterschool programs and mental health and case management services at these sites.
Services are available to all the 123 families who live at Bella Monte and Los Medanos Village. Most of these families are working and have low incomes. Some families have special needs.
