CCIH is a nonprofit, charitable human services agency dedicated to ending the trauma of homelessness for residents of Contra Costa County. In 1991, concerned Contra Costa County faith communities made the decision to join together and develop badly needed housing for the County’s homeless families and individuals.

Today, CCIH membership includes more than twenty inter-denominational, faith-based communities who cooperate and share resources and skills. Together, we develop affordable permanent housing and provide quality support services to our tenants. Our goal is to enable individuals and families to stabilize their health, enhance self-sufficiency, and break the cycle of homelessness.

Our first project, Garden Park Apartments, provides permanent supportive housing for twenty-seven formerly homeless families, each with an adult member with a health or mental health disability.
